Dmytro from the Zhytomyr Region was diagnosed with a tumor in his stomach at the age of two.

In the summer of 2022, he underwent an operation. Recovery was tricky — he had to stay in the intensive care unit long. But Dmytro was happy when the doctors finally allowed him to go to the playroom.

The boy loves other children very much, especially cuddling with them. He loves to play with constructors and cars.

In July 2023, Dmytro was discharged from the hospital and finally saw his family: his five-year-old sister, one-year-old brother and grandmother. But the boy’s struggle continues – his tumor has not yet been completely removed.
