The boy loves to do puzzles and construction sets and quickly makes new friends among older and younger children. We can learn from his sociability!

Until December 2022, the family did not even suspect that Oleh was seriously ill. But one day, he complained of stomach pain and refused to eat. The diagnosis stunned the family: a large kidney tumor with metastases to the lungs and liver.

Since then, the boy has been treated at Okhmatdyt Children’s Hospital. He underwent complicated surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy.

Oleh likes animators and volunteers who come to the ward and organize soap bubble shows and creative workshops. The boy already has a whole collection of drawings and applications from them.

Although Oleh has already made many friends in the hospital, he misses his twin sister, Daryna, even more than his father. “Children have a special bond,” his mother is convinced.
