Maryna Berdar
Hospital Clowning Project Manager
Maryna joined the hospital clowns as a volunteer in 2019. Later, volunteering became a profession, and in October 2022, she joined the foundation’s team.
Maryna is a certified hospital clown; she finished a study program at Soccorso Clown. Maryna and her colleague, Olha Bulkina, lead the hospital clowning project called BOOP. The project’s mission is to ensure that children have a childhood regardless of the circumstances and help children and their parents cope with stress and adapt to hospital conditions through games and laughter.
Maryna likes outdoor activities and painting. She also enjoys strip plastic, improvisation, and physical theater. “My life is an improvisation,” says Maryna.
