Tabletochki provided $385 823 of support for Ukrainians in December

Thanks to our donors:

— 193 children treated in Ukraine received the required medicines, consumables, psychological and material support. They also received help with outpatient housing and lived next to hospitals.

— The expenses of targeted assistance projects were $79,537.

— $109,78 were allocated to supporting Ukrainian hospitals, including improving treatment conditions and purchasing medicines and medical supplies. In particular:

  • $10,9 were spent on the tumor research microscope for the Regional Family Health Medical Center in Dnipro. The new equipment will make it possible to establish diagnoses more accurately and to choose a treatment protocol. The money for this purchase provided the Rotary Club of Gloucester Severn.
  • Tabletochki allocated $35,5 to reconstruct the ambulatory space of the Western Ukrainian Specialized Children’s Medical Center in Lviv. This is to reduce the crowding of families, the waiting time for an appointment with a doctor (it will be possible to consult up to four families simultaneously), and to relieve the staff who provide care in the hospital.

— $29,6 were spent on doctors’ internships and financial support within the program of support and continuous professional development of the medical personnel.

— Tabletochki allocated $35,05 to the Foundation’s palliative care program.

— Those children with cancer who could not receive all the required treatment in Ukraine were evacuated abroad. The expenses were $12,2 and included: transfers in Ukraine and abroad, translation of medical documents, and one-time financial assistance that covered expenses appearing due to a sudden relocation.

— 165 families of children with cancer being abroad received financial, psychological, and household assistance in the amount of $47,658.
