— Children received medicines, and other medical supplies, and underwent examinations at a total cost of $104,987. When the necessary medicines are unavailable in the hospital, and parents cannot buy them independently, the Foundation’s targeted assistance becomes a chance to continue vital treatment and eventually recover the child.
— Eight hospitals received medicines and supplies worth $70,897. Another $20,483 was provided as emergency aid after the shelling of the Okhmatdyt National Children’s Hospital. In particular, $10,182 was spent on filters for the hospital’s ventilation system and $1,706 was spent on repairing a laboratory microscope. This aid is extremely important for the safe treatment of children in the surviving wards.
— In July, 108 doctors learned English and received financial support. The cost of this program amounted to $14,742.
— $7,412 was allocated to evacuate and support families receiving treatment abroad. We help with evacuation when the treatment a child needs is not available in Ukraine.
— $23,590 was allocated to the Foundation’s palliative care program. We do our best to make life easier for families with terminally ill children: we buy them medicines and care products, organize consultations with doctors and psychologists, and fulfill their dreams.
— $11,693 covered outpatient housing costs for non-local families in Kyiv and Lviv who have to visit the hospital regularly but cannot afford to rent an apartment in these cities. After the shelling of Okhmatdyt, this assistance has become even more urgent, as there are fewer inpatient beds, and children cannot stop their treatment.
— $9,062 was allocated for social support and rehabilitation of families who have completed treatment. Summer is traditionally the busiest time for activities in this program. Every week in Kyiv and Lviv, children attend events aimed at socialization and returning to everyday life after exhausting treatment.
— $15,311 was spent on psychological assistance. For the first time, it was provided not only to children and their families but also to medical workers who had experienced great stress due to the shelling.
The Foundation’s expenses for raising funds to help children amounted to 8.6%, and administrative expenses amounted to 5.2%.

In July, Russia committed another act of terrorism by shelling the Okhmatdyt National Children’s Hospital. This posed a significant challenge for pediatric oncology treatment: five departments and Ukraine’s only oncohematology laboratory were damaged. However, these tragic events have once again proved that you stand with the most vulnerable children battling two wars. Thousands of donors responded to our emergency appeal. Together, we managed to raise about $1,950,000 to help children.
Thank you for your kind hearts!
