Before her diagnosis, Mariia loved contemporary dance and singing. She regularly took part in regional and national competitions.
She has always been kind and outgoing, with many friends. But after being admitted to the hospital, she withdrew emotionally.
The surgery left a small dent on her forehead. It still upsets Mariia, so her parents do everything they can to support her.
“We never forget to tell her how beautiful she is,” her mother says.
At first, Mariia didn’t want to talk to her friends. But with the support of her parents and a psychologist, she is gradually opening up again.
Tabletochki helps children like Mariia with much more than medicines and medical tests. We also help them cope with the emotional challenges of treatment through psychological support, creative workshops, and celebrations in hospital wards. If families wish, we also provide wigs.
Everything we do is aimed at helping children and their families get through treatment with the care and support they need.
Please help children like Mariia receive that care every step of the way.
