Vadym participates in all the creative workshops at the hospital and has created a collection of handicrafts. He sends some of them to his brothers and sisters, who are waiting for him at home in Volyn Oblast.

Vadym dreams of returning to his school, even if just for a short visit. To achieve this, he even promises to stop being naughty.

Eight years ago, when Vadym was less than two years old, doctors removed one of his kidneys due to cancer. Recently, a new tumor has appeared in the same area.

“I have won once, and I will do it again,” he says confidently and boldly as he undergoes all the procedures.
