“When you hear that your child has such a diagnosis, even war is perceived differently then,” says the mother of eight-year-old Nazar, who has been fighting a brain tumor for several months.

Nazar looks a bit older than his peers. The fight for his childhood made the boy mature.

Nazar has had brain surgery and four cycles of chemotherapy and is about to start a course of radiation therapy.
