The girl’s first symptoms of cancer appeared at the beginning of the Russian full-scale invasion. At that time, Daryna and her mother had just left for Poland to escape the war. However, local doctors were unable to determine the cause of the child’s health problems, so the family decided to return home.
After a long search, the diagnosis was made — the girl had an 18-centimeter malignant tumor in her pelvis.
Now Daryna is being treated at the Clinical Center for Pediatric Medicine in Lviv while preparing for her first surgery.
She dreams of returning home and playing with her older brother. By making a charitable donation, you help children like Daryna recover.
