Anastasiia is a gifted and bright girl. Dancing came easily to her — and so did school. Last fall, she was preparing to travel to a Ukrainian language competition when her illness confined her to a hospital bed.

For the past seven months, Anastasiia has been fighting cancer at the Kyiv Oblast Oncology Center. But even now, she continues learning online, determined not to give up on school.

Her biggest dream is to recover and return home.
